Looking Back in Gratitude, Moving Forward in Faith
Father Williams AbbaWhat an extraordinary time of grace it is to be a part of the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church family. As we look back over the spectacular events of our Jubilee Year, my heart overflows with profound gratitude to Almighty God. The Lord has truly smiled upon our community, blessing our celebrations and pouring out His favor upon us.
Alongside the success of our Jubilee festivities, we look with joy at the beautiful renovation of our Church. This physical transformation stands as a testament to your faith, devotion, and sacrificial love. I want to give personal and heartfelt thanks to God for each and every one of you. Your prayers, your labor, your financial support, and your unyielding dedication have made all of this possible. You have helped build a beautiful dwelling place for the Lord and a spiritual home for our community.

JUBILEE CAMPAIGN!
Dear Parishioners of St. Elizabeth Seton,
It was C.S. Lewis that commented “progress means getting nearer to the place you want to be.” This is what has driven our renovation team over the past week as our focus is on finishes. While we have worked on structural and the functional foundation of the remodel, our finishes will define the durability, beauty, and daily comfort for all the parishioners.
Finishes does not mean just little things but sometimes relates to very key changes. You may have noted the new exterior Adoration Chapel door being installed. This new door provides natural light in the chapel, while providing those in Adoration a sense of security knowing if someone is just outside or entering. We are now focusing on new stucco and wall repair both inside and outside of the chapel to make sure the area looks like new.

HEALING MASS AT ST. CLARE OF ASSISI
Join us MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 to begin this Journey to Grow Closer to Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary
St. Louis de Montfort teaches that the consecration of oneself to Jesus through Mary is a complete renewal of baptismal promises, giving oneself entirely to Jesus Christ through the hands of the Blessed Virgin. He explains that Mary is the safest, shortest, and most perfect path to Jesus Christ, because God chose to come to us through her (Incarnation), and we likewise go to God through her.
Join us Mondays beginnning November 9 in Dcn. Tone/Library as we embark together on this 33-Day pilgrimage to entrust ourselves to Our Lady. We will be using the book 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley as our guide which offers a weekly video that we will share. Our journey will culminate as we consecrate ourselves to Mary on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Saturday, December 12 at 8am Mass. Our consecration will be led by Fr. John Nahrgang, a priest from our Diocese pursuing his Doctorate in Rome with his emphasis on Our Lady of Guadalupe.
By clicking below, you will be registered for the journey. You will also receive the daily readings and short prayers by Flocknote. Books are available in the office for $12.
Do not worry if you are unable to join us in person. While we highly encourage you to be present and share your journey with your parish family, Marian Consecration may be received by anyone who completes the daily readings and reflections as outlined in the book.
Please contact Dcn. Jeff Arner or Michelle Harvey in the office for more information or to be registered.

Pope Leo's October Prayer Intention
Do you have a will? As Catholics, we are called to lives of stewardship—and that includes passing on our values and valuables to the next generation. St. Elizabeth Seton is introducing a free will-writing tool, sponsored by the Diocese of Phoenix, so all parishioners can create a will for free and support the people and ministries close to their heart.
Pope Leo XIV has published his first Encyclical: Magnifica Humanaitas: “On Safeguarding the Human person in the time of Artificial Intelligence”
This marked the first time a pope has so comprehensively addressed the topic of artificial intelligence (AI). Therefore, it will likely be remembered as a landmark papal teaching for many years to come. Pope Leo is inviting the whole world—people of faith and all people of good will—into a moral discernment about the potential impacts of our rapidly evolving modern technologies.
The Encyclical is available in the parish office for your taking. You are welcome to get one for free, however, we do accept donations.

What is it? It’s a special opportunity for you to pray for vocations, You are given a Chalice for two weeks, along with specific prayers. Place it in a prominent place in your home. It’s a wonderful visual as you pray. You don’t need a group of people. Your prayers are needed to ask God to grant us more priest, religious and lay ministers.
REMEMBER: NO PRIEST - NO EUCHARIST
You will be presented the Chalice at the end of Mass or in private. If you are not able to get to church, it can be taken to you. Call Rachel Ruby at 623-972-1051. She will call you back to answer questions or to schedule you to receie the Chalice.
That Man Is You meets Saturday at 6:30am. For more information, please contact Deacon Jeff Arner.

Moses Smashing the Tablets of the Law
Join Bishop John Dolan on this Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time as he reflects on “Moses Smashing the Tablets of the Law,” painted by Rembrandt.
The Gospel (Matthew 22:34-40) focuses on the twofold greatest commandment: love God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. This is the foundation on which the entire law rests.
But rather than focusing on where the Ten Commandments should be on public display, Bishop Dolan invites us to ponder where they should always remain: on our mind, lips and hearts — and above all in the way we live. Evangelization means becoming a living sign of love for others to see.
