Wisdom Vs. Knowlege
Deacon Marty PogioliBuckminster Fuller, is best known as an architect and inventor. He was also a futurist, who in 1982 developed the concept of the ‘Knowledge Doubling Curve.’ Throughout his life, Fuller charted the growth of human knowledge.
Prior to 1900, the world’s collective intelligence is estimated to have doubled every 100 years. The personal computer revolution of the 1980’s dropped the knowledge doubling time to 13 months. It is now estimated that knowledge is doubling every 12 hours. No wonder we have trouble keeping up.

JUBILEE CAMPAIGN!
Dear Parishioners,
This week’s message is a brief thank you for those who were able to attend the Open House and extend warm greetings to those who are unable to see the updates prior to the first Mass in our renovated church. We are welcoming Bishop John Dolan to St. Elizabeth Seton on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM and humbly ask for his blessing over the Church and Parishioners and consecration of the Altar.

Join us MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 to begin this Journey to Grow Closer to Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary
St. Louis de Montfort teaches that the consecration of oneself to Jesus through Mary is a complete renewal of baptismal promises, giving oneself entirely to Jesus Christ through the hands of the Blessed Virgin. He explains that Mary is the safest, shortest, and most perfect path to Jesus Christ, because God chose to come to us through her (Incarnation), and we likewise go to God through her.
Join us Mondays beginnning November 9 in Dcn. Tone/Library as we embark together on this 33-Day pilgrimage to entrust ourselves to Our Lady. We will be using the book 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley as our guide which offers a weekly video that we will share. Our journey will culminate as we consecrate ourselves to Mary on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Saturday, December 12 at 8am Mass. Our consecration will be led by Fr. John Nahrgang, a priest from our Diocese pursuing his Doctorate in Rome with his emphasis on Our Lady of Guadalupe.
By clicking below, you will be registered for the journey. You will also receive the daily readings and short prayers by Flocknote. Books are available in the office for $12.
Do not worry if you are unable to join us in person. While we highly encourage you to be present and share your journey with your parish family, Marian Consecration may be received by anyone who completes the daily readings and reflections as outlined in the book.
Please contact Dcn. Jeff Arner or Michelle Harvey in the office for more information or to be registered.

Do you have a will? As Catholics, we are called to lives of stewardship—and that includes passing on our values and valuables to the next generation. St. Elizabeth Seton is introducing a free will-writing tool, sponsored by the Diocese of Phoenix, so all parishioners can create a will for free and support the people and ministries close to their heart.
SPECIAL COLLECTION NEXT WEEKEND
Pope Leo XIV has published his first Encyclical: Magnifica Humanaitas: “On Safeguarding the Human person in the time of Artificial Intelligence”
This marked the first time a pope has so comprehensively addressed the topic of artificial intelligence (AI). Therefore, it will likely be remembered as a landmark papal teaching for many years to come. Pope Leo is inviting the whole world—people of faith and all people of good will—into a moral discernment about the potential impacts of our rapidly evolving modern technologies.
The Encyclical is available in the parish office for your taking. You are welcome to get one for free, however, we do accept donations.

What is it? It’s a special opportunity for you to pray for vocations, You are given a Chalice for two weeks, along with specific prayers. Place it in a prominent place in your home. It’s a wonderful visual as you pray. You don’t need a group of people. Your prayers are needed to ask God to grant us more priest, religious and lay ministers.
REMEMBER: NO PRIEST - NO EUCHARIST
You will be presented the Chalice at the end of Mass or in private. If you are not able to get to church, it can be taken to you. Call Rachel Ruby at 623-972-1051. She will call you back to answer questions or to schedule you to receie the Chalice.
That Man Is You meets Saturday at 6:30am. For more information, please contact Deacon Jeff Arner.

Catholic Cemeteries
On this Thirty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time, Bishop John Dolan reflects on the details often found in cemeteries: crosses, images of Our Lady and simple inscriptions of Christian faith.
His reflection is inspired by Saint Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, which addresses a grieving community — teaching us that while Christians grieve, we do so with a unique hope. Through Jesus’ death and Resurrection, God will bring with Him all who have “fallen asleep,” so the living and the dead await the promise of eternal life together.
A visit to a Catholic cemetery makes this hope tangible. Walking among the stones of unknown brothers and sisters, reading their names and praying for them reminds us that death is not the end; together we look forward to the life of the world to come.
